I find it challenging to watch the news these days as so much coverage is centered on the negative of the world. Yes, the Covid-19 pandemic has been a challenge and overall we are becoming fatigued to the process. I do know the good will of humanity will prevail. Case in point, my experience in the clinic a few weeks ago…

I had a younger couple with an infant signing up as a couple for our Specialized Strength Membership. They were undecided if they should utilize the Basic Plus plan for both of them or just the basic for the husband. The price difference is significant, however they decided to purchase the Basic Plus for each of themselves after much deliberation.

During this time, one of our physical therapy patients was sitting in the front lobby watching this decision. Upon being taken to the back therapy room he informed our staff he would like to purchase the plan for each of them. He felt this would be best for them. He is always looking for a way to give back to the community as people had done for him when he was younger. Naturally, we were taken back by his generosity and were humbled by his act of generosity towards two strangers.

Overall, despite the global pandemic, mask mandate, temperature checks, and constantly hearing “new normal”…. we are still able to witness kindness and generosity. Thank you KB for the example of how to be the light and pay it forward.
